I am an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operator by profession, and enjoyed a career spanning more than two decades in both military operations, as well as Humanitarian Mine Action. After a decade long career in the military disposing WWII explosive remnants of war, supporting special operations & personal security details, I moved on to a wider scope of work in hostile armed-conflict affected countries like Afghanistan, Liberia, Palestine, Iraq, Somalia, Mali and Ukraine.
I've always been interested in art, especially photography. I wouldn't describe myself as a journalist, but one of my passions has always been to bring the rarely seen, as well as the lesser known parts of the world, to the people around me. Photography captures the world as we see it, but art is the expression of how we interpret the world around us, our emotions, our inspirations, as well as our aspirations.
Though I'm currently an independent consultant on explosive hazard management, training management, as well as national post-conflict recovery, I've always kept art & photography close to my heart. I hope you enjoy images & artwork that have been carefully curated for your viewing pleasure, and do take the time to read the interesting backstories and insights accompanying each image & item.
