These small arms ammunition were assessed to have been tampered with to extract it's propellant for other purposes. Despite appearing empty, have been collected and consolidated as they still have intact percussion caps/primers. These percussion caps still contain impact sensitive explosives that can cause injuries when mishandled, or exposed to high heat. Additionally, the nature of functioning of these primers also make them suitable for incorporation into IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) and improvised ordnance.
