Improvised switches manufactured for incorporation into IEDs (Improvised explosive devices). These switches were assessed to be made for pull-activation by adding electrical connections to disposable medical syringes, as well as the incorporation of a battery. The condition in which these switches were recovered suggest that they were being mass produced for subsequent incorporation into IEDs. (Note how the components have been taped together with the wires neatly coiled, and the battery connector unattached.)
